Paint Your Own Room Tools by Olympic Paint

I love decorating my kid's bedrooms.

It's so fun to pick things out according to their personalities.  I showed you my 3 year old's eclectic toddler bedroom.

And a sneak peek of my son's shared striped bedroom.

Now for the (wanna-be) pre-teen, my dramatic, bubbly, silly 9 year old daughter.  She picked her bed and desk colors.  She has all sorts of ideas for this room and I told her sky's the limit..she can do whatever color she likes.  My mom always let me and Kristi paint our walls throughout high school.  We must have gone through 10 different shades in 4 years.  I love that our mom let us do that, she felt it was important to express ourselves...her only rule was to do a good job/no paint on the carpet.

Using PAINT YOUR OWN ROOM by Olympic Paint & Stain was the perfect solution for Ryleigh's room.  It's all VIRTUAL.  Say what?-you heard that right!!  How seriously AWESOME is that?!  Instead of going through the chore of physically painting your room different shades and chancing not liking it, you'll know BEFORE you make the trip to the store!  Paint your Own Room is the newest addition to the ColorClix suite.  And it ROCKS.

Here is the before of Ry's room:

Here it is in the shades of Chickadee + Moonshine:

plus I took a pic of the wall you'd see when walking in just to coordinate:

Ohmygosh...SO MUCH BETTER,  right?!

The best part about ColorClix is the ability to separate the walls so you can apply different paint colors to them.  I was able to tell it that I had 3 walls, the ceiling PLUS you can show it where trim goes as well.

I had to laugh at some of the bizarre combo's I thought might look good...

Sweet Sixteen:

Tahitian Sunset:

I still love coral, and darnnit, somehow I will end up with a splash of it in there.

Ryleigh REALLY wants yellow or blue walls.  So I played around with blue as well, Sail Blue + Fond Farwell:

and the focal wall:

So guys, now I can't decide, LOL! Of course I'll add more accents and accessories in there but dang, I like them both!
What color combo do YOU like?!
Yellow or blue??
