I have the glitter trees from Eighteen25 in my house but currently have a love/hate relationship with them!!-the glitter sheds like crazy! [Anyone else have that problem?!]
I'll be re-creating them into a few of these adorable trees featured. Love all the creativity!!
Okay, I love all these trees. Some more than others are appealing to me, but I also wanted to share with you my little Tree tutorial on my blog. Crepe paper ones that I made for my daughter, and my first decorated room complete, which happens to be the Dining room. so come check it all out!
ReplyDeleteI used to live in Pinetop, AZ and just returned from Surprise and Anthem, cause we were there for Thanksgiving. Where are you living in sunny AZ. Love your crafty little blog here.!
So cute! I adore these types of topiary trees. I have never seen the yarn one before. LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had this list three days ago when I was making trees for a centerpiece! Thanks for the list- I'm bookmarking it for next time!
ReplyDeleteWhen I made my glitter trees, I used glitter stirred into Mod Podge. It doesn't shed at all! I made my own cones though, so I'm not sure how that would work on styrofoam.....
@something speical: on my way to check it out! @michele: i think that yarn one is darling too! @valerie: i wonder if styrofoam makes a difference?? all i know is my kids love to draw lines in them with their fingernails little stinkers! definitely going to switch them out! glad YOURS don't shed!
ReplyDeleteI made the glitter trees also. Ugh. Will NEVER make them again. I had problems with the glitter sticking and then I tried the E6000 to glue them onto the candlestick bases. After the glue eating about 1/2 of an inch away of the styrofoam, I gave up trying to straighten them up and hot glued them. One still tilts. And now they have bare spots on them even after glittering twice and spraying with a clear coat.
ReplyDeleteCute trees...I am obsessed with trees this year...just cannot seem to find the time to get them done. Thanks for showing these cuties!
