Guest blogger/Sponsor: Leen Machine

We are so happy to welcome back a previous sponsor, Leen Machine, AND introduce the cute owner, Paulene, who happens to be our guest today :)

You may remember her oh-so-popular wedding maps that are all over Blogland & Pinterest, (and that also inspired our state art.)

Her cute shop is filled with wedding invitations, thank you cards, Christmas/holiday cards and stationary for everyday occasions:

Paulene is so talented & we are proud to have her as a sponsor, and are just thrilled she's here to strut her stuff :)
Stop by her Etsy store, Blog or Pinterest!

Hi there!
I'm Paulene from Leen Machine
This is my first time guest posting ever and I'm so excited & honored to be on Lolly Jane!  One of my New Year resolutions (yes, I've already started thinking about it!) is to do more crafting in my spare time when I'm not all focused on my shop.  With a home and work office to decorate, wedding keepsakes that are STILL not up after two years and travel memorabilia to display, I have a lot of crafting to catch up on!

But it's only natural I start with what I know: Paper.
My love for all things paper started when I lovingly labored through our DIY wedding invitations.  It was also then that I learned the simple process of embossing.  Embossing is a bit like letterpress, where you can touch and feel the end result, but it's sooo much more budget-friendly and a whole lot easier to do.

So let's get started!
Here's what you'll need:
1. Envelopes + Cardstock
2. Embossing Heating Tool
3. Ink Pad
4. Rubber Stamp
5. Embossing Powder

Before you begin stamping, place a piece of regular paper underneath your cardstock.  This will catch excess embossing powder that you can pour back into its container and reuse.

Press your stamp firmly on the ink pad, then on cardstock.

Then pour the embossing powder directly on the stamped image, making sure to completely cover the image with powder.  Afterwards, hold the cardstock upright and lightly tap out excess powder onto regular paper.

Plug in heating tool, turn on, point and heat image directly.

Ooh and aah over the embossed goodness!  The fun part it seeing it all turn embossed in front of your eyes.  It might take some trial-and-error but the process is super easy.

Now with the holidays fast approaching, you can emboss cards, gift tags, or place cards for your holiday party!  The possiblities are pretty much endless!

Thanks again Kelli & Kristi for having me and being my first guest post! :)
