To kick off the first official weekend in November, we created a frame to remind us what we're grateful for this time of year.
Now our family can write down what makes up happy that day or that week. Since it's dry erase, we can always think of more blessings and add them.
Here's what I did to create this easy project.
Supplies: Elmer's All Tacky Glue, Elmer's Spray Adhesive, Elmer's Foam Board, X-Acto scissors + knife, scrap chenille/linen fabric, 8x10 picture frame with glass, vinyl lettering (email lollyjane@gmail.com to order), dry erase marker
[To see how we shopped for all the goods, check out our Google+ album]
Instructions: We used a recycled picture frame missing the backing so Step 1 is cutting the foam board with your X-Acto knife to size. Note: Cut 1/8" smaller than frame so there's room for your fabric. Step
2: Flip your pretty side of the fabric face down (this is what you will see from the front). Spray adhesive the fabric to the foam board. Step 3: Using tacky glue, glue new fabric frame to inside of picture frame.
Step 4: Apply vinyl lettering.
Step 5: Think of what you're grateful for and smile (:
This project has been compensated as part of a social shopper insights study for Elmer's #gluenglitter #collectivebias #CBias. However, all opinions are my very own.
