I got a high school graduation announcement from a girl I just love and know really well. Instead of the standard $20, I chose to give her something that would last longer and help her in her new college adventure: a framed dry erase board.
She's moving out for the first time into an apartment.
I helped her re-do her bedroom over the summer {see here} and know she can use this fun dry erase board to write notes to her roomate, jot down cute boy's #'s, remind herself of appointments and etc!

Best part?
Cost me under $15!

Step 1:
Buy frame from Joann's or Michael's using your 40% coupon: $9.99

Step 2:
Take off backing, rip out glass holders & replace with window push points
{found at Home Depot}.
Step 3:
Give to new grad :)
Tips: I have a vinyl cutter so I mirror-imaged the bird, clock & saying onto the backside of the frame. If you don't have access to vinyl, you could draw a pic with a sharpie or apply it with acrylic paint. I like the clean look with the wall showing behind but there are other fun options :)
Ooh that is a good idea! Thanks so much for this, I'll be linking.
