Homemade choco-almond-mallow brownies

Since moving to Yuma I have had some MAJOR Costco withdrawals... although I appreciate that there's a Sam's Club here, it's just not the same.

Are you a Costco gal or a Sam's girl?  Usually people are one or the other, but our mother is both :)

Anyway, I especially miss the Kirkland chocolate almonds.  In fact, the weekend we moved, I made one last trip to stock up! LOL  Fast forward to last week... I purchased some mini marshmallows for a marshmallow gun I snagged at Goodwill for a buck that didn't work {darn it} and am now stuck with an entire bag of mallows.  When I saw my coveted chocolate almonds sitting next to them in the cupboard this morning, I knew it was a match made in pregnancy-craving-heaven :)

Without further adieu,
the choco-almond mallow brownie:

I used my favorite scratch brownie recipe {found here} and simply mixed crushed chocolate almonds & the mallows into the batter.  Pile another handful of chopped chocolate almonds, marshmallows and chips on top when the brownies are fresh out of the oven put back under the broiler for just a minute and you're set:

Mmmmmm!

Can you tell my little guy couldn't wait to dig in?

Enjoy :)

See you tomorrow for a tasty dinner recipe and then on Thursday for a fresh home decor tutorial.
Happy Tuesday!
