Lol, most of you said not more than $50! I'm laughing because this dresser would NEVER have crossed my mind BEFORE I came across this baby:
I learned SO MUCH about finishing furniture from this e-book. I thought I knew a lot as I taught myself along the way, you know, just by being brave enough to try new things. I quickly realized, though, that I had much, much more to learn. Basically, their catch phrase is: "This is the book we wish we had before we started finishing furniture." Definitely worth the money... in my opinion (;
Now that I had an idea of how to really redo this piece the right way, it was fun to transform it:
Viola!
Here she is residing in my master bedroom:
Just take a look at that chippy-ness!
*whistle*
And the pulls!
Oh, the pulls... love them.
I think the top is my favorite, though (:
Consider this a sneak peek of this in-progress room.
I know, I know... no judging... it's a WORK-in-progress, remember? I've gotten as far as painting but hope to have it finished this month in honor of my 10 year anniversary! ♥
[Linking up here this week]
So pretty! I love the top, too! If you asked me if I would want a "chippy" dresser when I got married, I would have thought you were crazy. Now, I would take it any day over shiny and new! Can't wait to see what else you do!
