After Halloween my mantle went from spooky straight to Christmas (due to lots of fun guest posts). A lot of people do that, do you?
I felt guilty skipping over Thanksgiving. I love food, lol! I love getting together with family and enjoying a huge home cooked meal. And I love that there are NO expectations like the Christmas season brings...no gifts that are exchanged, no pressure for presents. Just food and family/friends. [Side note: ignore my purple pews aka roadside finds! They'll be getting a much needed facelift soon!]
So this weekend I switched it back to a Thanksgiving mantle. I'm slightly depressed I'll be changing it back to Christmas in less than a week but hey, whatever! (;
1. Quick tut for the banner: cut burlap triangles, stencil lettering onto them, using bakers twine+tweezers, tie them together = easy. Took me 30 mins start to finish.
2. The 'Gobble' is from The Wood Connection: buy the raw kit and paint/embellish yourself. [$21.95]
3. Thankful Frame tut can be found here.
1. Pinecone tip: Collect from yard + spray paint for the season.
2. Give Thanks & Eat sign can be purchased here.
1. Canvas was cheap: see details below.
3. Subway Address Art tut here.
See the white table? That was a $10 church sale find, love it. And I adore the display above it too: My 4 kidlets, all the places we lived and the monogram of our last name ($1 clearance from Michaels).
Do you fancy that cute canvas? It was sooo cheap from Canvas People and yes, I used them and loved them BEFORE we were affiliates for them, thankyouverymuch! (;

Happy Thanksgiving! Your mantle looks great. Isn't that a fun gobble, I've done one of those as well, but it has a different turkey with it. {Just FYI, The Wood Connection doesn't ship anymore, you can check their blog (thewoodco.blogspot.com) or their facebook page.}
