Did you miss the original tut on our framed dry-erase menu board at our bff Katie's site Sweet Rose Studio? Well, read on AND for a chance to win one!
We both have the problem of answering, “Ummm… what sounds good?” when our husbands come home from work and ask what’s for dinner so now we can let them know without having to ask AND it’s a great outline for weekly grocery shopping ;) We know most of our sisters & friends share this same problem so this is an easy solution and an inexpensive gift to give.
To get started you need just a few things:
12x12 picture frame
12x12 scrapbook paper
Vinyl lettering {available here}
Dry-erase marker
12x12 picture frame

Simply apply the vinyl lettering onto the glass, slide the paper in and write your menu for the week:
Want to give as a gift?
Just add a big red bow with a dry-erase marker tied in:
So guess what?
This weekend we were in charge of re-creating this cute project at our church's craft day and ended up having one extra vinyl decal...

ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea! I've been looking for a hostess gift and this might be it. I recommend using a sharpie instead of a dry-erase marker. The sharpie ink on glass won't be smudged but will easily wipe off with a wet towel. I use sharpies on my glass-framed family calendar and it works really well.
