i♥Robots {giveaway}

We're huge robot people around here... we ♥ smart phones, gadgets, technology, etc.  And now we love Mechatars by i♥Robots, which combines the best of robotics, remote-controlled toys & online gaming all in one toy.

When our very own Mechatar, Kodar, arrived, my hubby and 2 sons fought over who got to play with him first! Hee hee.  

The hubby won, claiming he had to "test it" ;)  
When he did relinquish the robot + remote after laughing that it scared our dog... he jumped online and set up Kodar so our sons could battle online!  

My boys loved using the RC controller it came with and had a blast making it speed across the room and turn it around.  When they put Kodar in "mission mode" he moved around to survey his surroundings and sought a target.  Awesome.  We will be using coupon code MECHMOM {to receive 10% off iloverobots.com until 11/30/11- you can use this too!} to buy one of the other Mechatars as they are able to sense eachother via wireless communication and prepare for a one-on-one battle.  
The boys will love it, I'm sure :)

I ended up babysitting 8 kids all day Saturday on top of my own 4 kids.  Half of them were boys and I was SO happy to be reviewing Kodar the Mechatar that same week!

It entertained those rowdy boys for hours!  

I overheard my 9 year old nephew say, "I'm gonna ask my mom for one of these for Christmas so I can play at my house!"  I was thrilled, knowing I could use his honest verbiage in my review ;)  
It really IS that cool of a toy.
