Kristi's space {family room}

My husband & I recently moved from our 1000 sq. ft. house into a slightly bigger home of 1300 sq. ft. {That 3rd bedroom is a lifesaver!}  Since we're renting, we're not doing much but before we moved in, we did transform the space a bit.

Here's the before....
 er, kind of before. The board & batten was already completed when I took this shot.

{We used LOTS of primer! I hated the color red by this point! lol}

I like it. 
I realize there's no coffee table, area rug to bring in color, side tables with lamps and etc., but, the basics are there and the red is gone ;)


Besides, who doesn't ♥ crisp white board & batten?

It's not my dream family room but I ♥ that we are able to make the space ours while we're here for these short months :)
