Remember Grandwill's post?
Here's the better/after :
AND...
sneak peek of my new family room! I'd show ya the whole thing but it's just not ready quite yet. Example: see the curtains?-they were a $2 Goodwill find [yes the real Goodwill not Grandwill lol] but I still need to lengthen & surge them. And re-do a hutch turned tv stand. And make throw pillows. And build 4 picture frames for my 4 kids. See what I mean?!
So for now...enjoy the sneak peek ;)
Cost breakdown:
Lamp=FREE
Lamp shade=$5 garage sale find
Spray paint=FREE [leftover from old project]
ME=excited (:
: ) love it! the color is awesome!

ReplyDeleteKelli it's definitely coming together, baby steps as they say. With 4 kids around your working time comes in tiny spurts but can't wait to see the finished room.
ReplyDeleteAWESOME, Kelli!!! Can't wait to see the rest of your family room!!! Send your kids over here...I'll keep 'em occupied while you're working...of course for the cost of air fare you could just hire someone to finish for you...;) Looks great, darling girl!!!

Really appreciate you linking up at the Creative Bloggers' Party & Hop. That lamp totally rocks!
ReplyDeleteReally cute! What an awesome freebie! I'm so in to blue right now. Everything I'm attracted to is this color.
ReplyDeleteOkay, the lamp looks really good. But the reason I REALLY clicked over was the elephant. I love it!
ReplyDeleteWe had a baby pass away and he was buried with a stuffed elephant. So I collect elephants now and try to have one tucked away in each room of the house as a reminder of our middle son. <3
I love the color choice! Thanks for linking up to the Creative Bloggers' Party & Hop.
