Independence Day is almost here and we couldn't let it pass without at least one red, white & blue craft!
Truth be told, we were in a rush to attend the fun Elmers Craft & Tell hosted by our bestie Katie from Sweet Rose Studio and grabbed a little of this and a little of that from our craft room and ran out the door. But lo and behold, sitting with some talented bloggers, we were inspired and pretty soon our STARS & STRIPES PLAQUE was created:
Wanna make your own?
You'll need an 8x8 piece of wood, (12) 1.5" wood stars, red, white & blue acrylic paint, 2 eyehooks, coordinating ribbon & glue
Directions:
1. Paint: Red & white stripes on the wood, Blue stars
2. Arrange stars on plaque in circle, glue down (Note: wood glue or hot glue works great)
3. Screw eyehooks on top of plague
4. String coordinating ribbon through hooks & hang.
A big thanks to our dear friend for hosting such a fun night and motivating us to craft! Click {HERE} to see the cute bloggers we crafted with and what those creative chicks made (:
PS: We went home with an awesome stash of Elmers products...
