Guest blogger: Landee See, Landee Do

We ♥ todays guest blogger, she is so stinkin talented... her comments average at least 300 ;) We're happy to introduce you to her if you haven't seen all her inspiring projects out there as of yet.  Take it away, Miss Landee!

Hello Lolly Jane readers!  I'm Landee of Landee See, Landee Do and I'm so excited to be guest posting here today!  You're obviously as big of a fan as I am of cute Kristi & Kelli which is why you're here...that's one thing we have in common already!
Anyway, as my blog name suggests, I see cute projects and I do them.  It's as simple as that!  Anything from home decor to recipes to crafts...if I see it, and I like it, I do it!  And then post it, of course.  :)

Today I thought we'd make some fun paper bag lanterns I saw in an old Martha Stewart entertaining book a long time ago.  I've been thinking about doing a little "Welcome Summer" party with my kids on their last day of school.  Nothing fancy but it will definitely involve the BBQ and some lemonade.  I thought these would add the perfect festive touch for practically nothing and very little effort.  Just what I was looking for!
Don't you just love colorful paper bags?  They are so versatile and can be embellished for all kinds of things.  Plus they are only about $2.99 for 10 of them.  The perfect price.

Here is a quick tutorial on how to make these paper bag lanterns:

Tada!

Repeat in a few different sizes and colors of paper bags and you've got yourself a delightful centerpiece for any party!

Add some battery powered tea lights and they are perfect for an evening dinner party.  Ambiance anyone?

  1. Those are really adorable. They'd be great for any party ... I'm thinking red, white, and blue for a 4th of July party would be perfect!
