Wreath christmas card holder

Am I the only one who is already done with my Christmas cards?  :)
With both of our birthdays in December plus my son's & husband's, I need a head start!
Anyway, I thought of this cute way to display them since they usually get lost in a pile.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Although the idea to add wire into a wreath for cards {and future photo display} is my orginial idea... burlap wreaths are not: they're EvErYwHeRe! :)

Found THIS fun tute & altered it a bit:

Here's the skinny:
 You'll need about (25) 4" burlap squares.

Using a screwdriver, make a hole in your foam wreath.
Fill with hot glue.
Fold a burlap square into quarters.
Use a handy dandy screwdriver to push burlap into wreath.

When completed, make 3 rosettes for a grouping in out of red burplap.

With your wire, use pliers to curl the ends so you can slide your cards into it.

It's that easy!
I was able to complete the whole project during my kid's naptime and it was FREE since I had everything on hand anyway!
Enjoy!

. . . . .

Simple and sweet. I’m thinking of starting another blog or five pretty soon, and I’ll definitely consider this theme. Keep ‘em coming!
